The Project

Chile is in a privileged position to help develop the field of astronomy. Conditions, due in part to the air coming in from the Pacific Ocean and the high altitude, make our country one of the best places in the world to observe the skies. Furthermore, the eyes of the world will be on Chile for the two upcoming total solar eclipses in 2019 and 2020.

Therefore, Imagen de Chile has developed Chile Mobile Observatory, an app to help users learn about the Universe from a Chilean perspective.

Partners

Chile Mobile Observatory relies on the collaboration of different agents, public and private, which ensure the positioning of Chile in diverse fields, such as tourism, scientific and productive development, among others.
